Spectacles in Silver Case

I just had to show everyone these great vintage spectacles. I do not believe that the chain is original but they certainly do attract attention. I do not wear them often for fear of damaging them. Does anyone know the date of these wonderful opera type glasses.

    I have since discovered that this type of spectacles or opera glasses on a handle were called LORGNETTES
